Everything Wrong With The Day After Tomorrow
If you have not yet watched the show and plan to, continue reading at your own risk. We explain their characteristics and why storytellers should avoid them at all costs for multiple reasons. Because of the difficulty of this massive task, addressing plot holes always becomes a multiple-person endeavor to search for and root out unanswered questions from multiple perspectives and angles.
In the last season of Game of Thrones, there remained some glaring plot holes that are impossible to miss. These left viewers feeling more perplexed than ever. With an entire production team behind the most expensive TV show in history behind them and several years to plan between the seventh and eighth seasons, it further drives home how these plot holes were disappointing at some points and downright ridiculous at others the infamous Starbucks cup accidentally left behind in one of the shots being just one example.
To demonstrate what a plot hole looks like, below are a few examples that fans have pointed out from the eighth season.
Amongst them is a prince from Dorne as a representative. However, in season seven, Ellaria Sand and their daughter Tyene Sand were captured and tortured by the Lannisters.
However, the White Walkers and the Night King were defeated in episode three. What are they guarding? The reasoning behind this does not get explained.
Bran Stark has become the Three-Eyed Raven. This means that he now possesses all of the knowledge that exists about the history of man. He is also able to go into the mind of any person or animal as a warg. Why is he searching for Drogon? This is never explained. The final season of Game of Thrones was shortened to only six episodes. Keep detailed notes on character backgrounds, motives, unanswered plot threads, and planted foreshadowing.

This is your last chance to avoid the spoilers below and a final warning from the cast :. Marvel handled time travel rather well to prevent it from becoming a mainstream tool that can be used to fix past events. In short, you need a special GPS, a protective suit, and enough Pym particles to go back in time and return to the present.
Hank Pym developed the Pym particles many decades ago, well before he even met Scott Lang, who took over the Ant-Man mantle. So how did she pull Thanos to without him having the same key components?
The most straightforward answer is that Thanos and his smart goons replicated that technology. Image Source: Marvel Studios. A more advanced alien army can probably replicate that tech. He has to visit, in whatever order he deems necessary, and the year where he decides to settle down with Peggy. He can probably plan an efficient way of doing it, but if he needs to jump at least five times in the past, that means he should have either three or six vials of Pym particles.
Tony needed one, which leaves Cap with three others. Now, he uses either half a Pym particle or a full one to return to fromso he has two extras. That means, best-case scenario, he has five trips left five half-vials.
Worst case, two Pym particles get him only two trips. In other words, it sure looks like Cap might need more Pym particles to get the mission done. But, if you think about it, with Hank alive, they could have made as many Pym particles as needed. Marvel never tells us. But when Cap takes it back, the Space Stone is placed in a suitcase. How exactly is he going to turn it back into a Tesseract-like device?
Maybe this is the timeline where Cap settles down. Like, maybe Nat? Whatever the case, the Soul Stone needs to be returned, because these Infinity Stones are crucial for the existence of each timeline.
Yes, Rogers had one made, and he either saved it all these years while waiting for this moment, or he brought it from a different timeline. This brings us to…. Messing with adverse events in the past, however, will create a different timeline. He either stayed in the MCU-timeline without affecting anything that happened in the past, to not cause a split, and therefore was able to live his life with Peggy and survive until The other possibility is for Steve to be Steve, settle down with Peggy while dealing with the bad things that happen in his future our pastand create a new timeline.
The Infinity Stones create what you experience as the flow of time.
7 ‘Avengers: Endgame’ plot holes that need to be explained, and one huge question [SPOILERS]
Remove one of the stones, and that flow splits, now this may benefit your reality, but my new one, not so much. In this new branch reality, without our chief weapon against the forces of darkness, our world will be overrun, millions would suffer.
So tell me, doctor, can your science prevent all that? She was thinking, of course, mostly of the Time Stone, which is one of the essential weapons a Sorcerer Supreme posses. I did tell you at the top of this post that I have seven plot holes and one huge question. Marvel clearly wanted to limit time travel, but come on!No account yet? Registering is freeeasyand private.

The chairman of the research institute, where the story begins, enters the hole as a cripple and comes out as a god, again without any explanation.
He's then swallowed whole by Paprika, also without any explanation, and Tokyo carries on normal life as if the hole isn't even there. When Detective Konokawa asks two bartenders voiced by director Satoshi Kon and the original noveliest Yasutaka Tsutsui where the hole leads, they look away.
Well, they don't have any answer - they just wrote and directed the jolly thing. Of course, it's all metafictional pomo fun but, really, you can't beat it for a literal and figurative plot hole. Happily the bartenders decide to clean up the mess, though they never explain how. Sasuke once battled against Deidara. When it became obvious that he was going to lose, Deidara decided to use his most powerful attack in order to destroy them both. This resulted in the Tower of the Sun, which was an explosion so big that it could be seen for miles around.
It was revealed that Sasuke was able to escape the effects of the explosion by summoning Manda, using a genjutsu to control his mind, entering Manda's body, and the two of them escaping into another dimension. It had been established in the previous chapter that Sasuke had almost run out of chakra, yet he was somehow able to perform two costly jutsus in the space of the few seconds it took to avoid an explosion?
In order to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan, a member of the Uchiha clan must experience severe trauma, which usually manifests in the death of a loved one. Once the Mangekyo Sharingan has awakened, the user gains access to some of the most powerful jutsu in the world, yet this comes with a cost, as repeated use of the Mangekyo Sharingan erodes the user's eyesight until they go blind. The only way to avoid this is by stealing the eyes of a close relative.
Why has Obito retained his eyesight when we see him using his Kamui ability constantly? One of the few individuals who was said to have gained full control of his Tailed Beast was Yagura Karatcuhi. He was the Jinchuriki of the Three-Tails and he rose in rank to become the Mizukage.
Yagura was incredibly powerful, to the point where he slew a member of Akatsuki single-handedly. It is revealed that Obito was manipulating Yagura with genjutsu, in order to gain control of the Hidden Mist village. This conspiracy was finally unveiled by Ao, who used his stolen Byakugan to see the truth of Yagura's mind control. We know that one of the benefits of being a Jinchuriki who controls their Tailed Beast is immunity to genjutsu.
Killer B proves this during his fight with Sasuke. So how was Obito able to control Yagura with genjutsu? The Three-Tails should have been able to break his control. We often see high school students saving the world using levels of intelligence and physical strength that are atypical for people of their age.
When the names were being put forward for Naruto's Chunin Exam, Iruka questions whether Team 7 are ready or not. Kakashi tells Iruka that he took and passed the Chunin Exam at age six.
However, Kakashi taking the Chunin Exam makes no sense in relation to later pieces of information we are told. It is established that Might Guy enters the Academy at age seven and we see Kakashi there during flashbacks. Anko is also shown to be taking part in Kakashi's Chunin Exam, even though she is two-years younger than him. Did Anko take the Chunin Exam when she was four? Two detectives, William Somerset Morgan Freeman and David Mills Brad Pittsearch for a serial killer who bases each kill on one of the seven deadly sins. Se7en is based on a script by American screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker. However, the movie was subsequently novelized by Anthony Bruno and published in They are the most deadly vices, according to Pope Gregory the Great in the 6th century.
Lust may be specifically seen as excessive thoughts or desires of a sexual nature, which can manifest as sexual addiction, fornication, adultery, bestiality, rape, perversion, and incest. Gluttony is over-indulgence and over-consumption of anything to the point of waste. Greed avarice is the seeking of material gain over spiritual gain.
Sloth does not refer to laziness, but to indifference, of an unwillingness to act, an unwillingness to care. Envy is jealousy.
Pride is seen as the most serious sin, from which all others arise; a love of self perverted to hatred and contempt for one's neighbour. There are also Seven Holy Virtues which directly contradict each of the Sins. First, Gluttony was wearing a shirt, so we couldn't see very well under the table to notice whether or not his abdomen had actually broken open.
However, when Somerset and Mills are talking to the coroner a few scenes later and the victim's body is lying on the table, we still don't see any sign that his abdomen had actually split open. The doctor explains to the detectives that the man's inner abdominal wall was what had ruptured. Keep in mind, Mills asks "He ate until he burst?
Discussing the homicide later with Mills and their captain, Somerset mentions that Doe had tortured the man by forcing him to eat a huge amount of food and then kicked him in the back, causing the internal rupture.
Either the shock from the trauma or internal bleeding killed the man. The location is purposely not revealed.
It's a fictional city of constant rain and urban decay that mirrors the general tone of the film. In an interview with Cinefantastique magazine, however, screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker stated that the primary influence for the film's screenplay came from his time spent in New York City while trying to make it as a screenwriter. You can read about the filming locations here.
The location is more of a conglomeration of cities. While it does have the feel of New York City with the Subway sound vibrating Detective Mill's home, the finale has the main characters driving out into a flat plains surrounded by mountains. This looks far more like Southern California and LA does have a rudimentary subway system.
What LA doesn't have is the weather. The "Gluttony" victim Bob Mack was an unnamed obese man who was forced to eat until his stomach bursts, killing him. He was purposely bled to death by being forced at gunpoint to sacrifice a pound of his own flesh from his lower abdomen. He was tied to his bed for an entire year, kept at the brink of survival only through the judicious usage of intravenous drugs and medications, the experience of which causes him untold physical anguish and renders him completely insane.
He's taken to a local hospital with a chewed up tongue, vegetated brain, disintegrated and rotted skeletal body but we don't hear about him finally dying in the movie. Incidentally, he once escaped conviction for raping a minor due to the successful efforts of his lawyer, Eli Gould.
